According to an explanation from Apple support, this is due to the limitation of supplies to the Russian Federation, including spare parts, and therefore the warranty service for laptops and tablets is currently terminated.

For how long it is suspended, the support service did not specify.

Several authorized Apple service centers in Russia have confirmed to Interfax that the warranty service for the MacBook and i has been suspended. At the same time, this does not apply to iPhone smartphones.

At the same time, re:Store, Apple's largest reseller in Russia, said that they had no information about the suspension of warranty service.

The company notes that it has fulfilled and continues to fulfill warranty obligations to its customers for all equipment purchased online.

Earlier in the week, information also appeared that due to new restrictive measures against the Russian Federation introduced by the United States at the end of February, some intermediaries involved in importing iPhones to Russia through parallel imports notified their partners of their refusal to continue deliveries of smartphones to the country.
